After 3 years of extreme financial meltdown & stress, I was guided to the realization that next was a time of challenge to my health. This period from Aug/07 till May/08 has been filled with one medical problem (followed by several doctor apts) after another....May 26 will bring 2 tests on my now very humble prostate. An ultrasound will kick off the morning & afternoon will be ringed in by a LittleElvisoscopy...!
What else can I say.

Unmanageablity-a day in the life...!
On Wednesday I had the day from hell:
8:10am: somebody dumped snow in my parking spot...got my socks wet...had to go to work with wet feet
8:15am: 1 hr 10 minute traffic jam to get 5 miles accross the 401 to work
9:30AM: boss showed up & I got kicked out of my office unprepared
NOON: (ah, a breath of fresh air) went to L&M orded in a new Gibson ES335 like I used to play back in my hayday (small block inlays on fretboard) ...came home feeling back in gear..!
1:15pm: *whoops*somebody parked across my spot on the other side of the street not leaving me unuff room to get in...I slid into her car banging in my front fender & pushing out the headlamp assembly.
I was only home to brush my teeth before a dentist appointment...!
2:45pm: got stuck in my spot because of the snow dumped in the spot next to mine
Towtruck took an hour to get there
3:00pm: missed my dentist appointment..fined $50 for the insult
all this time my laundry was in the laundromat....could not get at it .SHE FINED ME $5.00
4:45pm: home with a banged up car,burned out tires & nothing accomplished...FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKK....!
CC
There you go & Bob's you uncle.....SUCKS TO BE ME...!

The second thing that jumps out is that all of the more recent departees by spontaneous combustion have been described by the investigating authorities as "alcoholics".
Well, I'm here to tell you that I am an alcoholic in the view of the recovery industry, but my last drink was Dec 1/1994 so how is that relevant...?
Nobody can evaluate the state of mind & body of these folks in their last few months. The beating that alcohol puts on the mind & body after a while renders us more than willing to open our minds & accept that "there is more" and perhaps even listen to "guidance" from our "Inner Voice".
My brother in law is a veteran of the funeral business & his best estimate is 1-1.5 hours @ 1580F to completely toast a smallish (155lb) man like me.
It is not possible by any logic that a fire could burn that hot/that long without completely engulfing whatever building housed this monumental event.
Not possible - time to look further.......!

To the way of thinking of this student of spiritual concepts the phenomenon we call spontaneous human combustion is by far the least understood & most misinterpreted.
This " happening" stands alone in that there is photographic evidence. We could convict OJ with the photos we have of the Mary Reeser (1951) & Dr I. J. Bentley (1966) scenes as the fire investigators look through the rubble where the people were "consumed".
I have to ask the question: Could it not be a courtesy or even a compliment removing the possiblity of a 4 day old stinking corpse...? What is worse than a dead body...?
How many of us die alone....?
Even if we are successful @ maintaining a couples relationship, one probably goes before the other leaving one to die alone.
Does this phenomenon have to be bad...?
